Travel Post - Roatan a slice of Paradise!

Hardly, do I consider myself a jet-setter nor have I been fortunate enough to tour the continents. However, in my almost three decades I have been in the constant pursuit of blending comfort, adventure and serenity during those few but precious days off of work. I believe this is all found on the island of Roatan off of the coast of Honduras. This verdict comes not after one but four trips to this beautiful island. Below are iPhone snapshots of my recent trip there!

And a little collage of how I spent most of my time at the Infinity Bay Resort!
And one more collage of the activities available on the island! Images via Infinity Bay Resort.

Now the way I speak you would think I stayed for free or something! Haha not the case! This is a legitimate affection for the resort, the island and the people which live and work there!

Stay: Infinity Bay Resort for scuba diving right outside your door or the the new Pristine Bay Resort for the islands only golf course.
Eat: La Palapa at Infinity Bay, Mangiamo Market & Deli for delicious sandwiches and your stay essentials, Tong's in West End for amazing Thai food, & El Faro for delicious seafood in a lighthouse with spectacular views.
Do: swim with dolphins, scuba-diving, visit the nearby Keys, paddle-board, zip-lining, hike through the mountains for acquaintance with tropical fauna and wildlife and of course sunbathing is the ultimate relaxation.
Get there: From the US connect in Houston or Newark for direct flights via United and from Atlanta for a direct flight via Delta, from Europe Alitalia offers flights from Milan, and from Canada travel via Sunwing from Toronto.
