SpotlightOn - 2012 Year in Review

Before we all head out to relish the end of another year (no the end of the world did not come) let us take some time to remember our favorite, albeit fashion inclined, things of 2012.

  1. Fashion Insider Street Style: Taylor Tomasi Hill - she bring the cool girl chic to anything she wears. (image via Style)
  2. Up and coming modelBarbara Fialho, she walked the Victoria's Secret fashion show 'nuff said. (image via Barbara Fialho's Instagram)
  3. Instagrammer & Blogger: The Brazilian culture is famous for celebrating! They embrace color, food & joy, and blogger Thassia Naves illustrates this daily via her Instagram. (image via Thassia Nave's Instagram)
See more for my top bags, shoes & shopping stops this year!

  1. Fashionista It bag: Chanel Le Boy, I first spotted this bag on Caroline Sieber and since have seen it on everyone from Miroslava Duma, jewelry designer Leila Kashanipour aka LeiVanKash, Leandra Medine aka Manrepeller. (image via Jak & Jill)
  2. Ultimate Personalized Bag: Edie Parker Bespoke Flavia Clutch. It does not get more you than with a gorge clutch with your name on it! (image of Anna Dello Russo via Style)
  3. Day Bag we lusted for: Celine Phantom Bag pick a color! The edgier sister to the Celine Luggage tote remains on my lust list. (image via Style)

  1. The Pointed D'Orsay: We saw this style all over the street style blogs especially when paired with cropped pants, my fave are these Monika Chiang pumps. (image via Intermix)
  2. Chic Flat: When you feel like wearing slippers but would like to keep some of your stylish persona the Charles Philip Shanghai smoking slipper is your go to! (image via Intermix)
  3. Sporty Shoe: Miu Miu Glitter Sneakers, It doesn't get cooler than these sneakers. Add instant pow to your look! (image via BergdorfGoodman)

Shopping Destinations:

  1. Jewelry Shop: BaubleBar - where else can you get a personalized necklace with your Twitter handle, ginormous earrings & arm candy with special weekly deals under $20!
  2. Sale Stop: Intermix - most people shy away from this store because they are known for intimidating sales girls & big price tags. Yet, if you have followed me you have seen proof of the thousands I have saved this year alone by shopping at Intermix!
  3. Party Dress Selection: Asos carries a wide selection of dresses at extremely affordable prices (multiple blog posts have been attributed to their dresses). Granted some items may need tailoring, but you will look far more expensive than what you spent!
